Chaim Deutsch

Chaim is the Founder and Managing Director of Oak Private Wealth. Chaim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). He has over a decade and half of experience serving as a trusted advisor to successful and high net worth clients on all aspects of their financial lives.

Chaim’s blend of unique experience, credentials and belief system means he possesses a rare balance of business, wealth advisory, financial planning, investment management and tax expertise uncommonly found in the industry.

EXPERIENCE

Prior to founding Oak Private Wealth, Chaim spent nearly half a decade working with estate planning attorneys, advising ultra-high-net worth clients and their families on their complex and unique wealth, investment and estate planning needs.

Prior to that, Chaim worked close to a decade as a supervisor at one of the largest accounting firms in Brooklyn NY, where he focused on helping clients with tax strategies and business advisory.

CREDENTIALS

Chaim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). CPA is a designation for qualified accountants that have passed the four sections of the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination totaling 14 hours of testing in addition to meeting additional state education and experience requirements. The CPA designation is largely viewed as the most comprehensive and professional credential in accountancy and taxation due to its rigorous standards and requirements to become and maintain licensing.

Chaim is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). The CFP® is a certification providing a high level of distinction in the profession of financial planning. This certification is recognized for its high standard of professional education, stringent code of conduct and standards of practice, and ethical requirements that govern professional engagements with clients. To attain the right to use the CFP® marks, an individual must fulfill Education, Examination, Experience and Ethics requirements.

EDUCATION

Chaim graduated with honors from Touro College and received his Bachelor’s degree in accounting, with a minor in finance.

PERSONAL

Chaim resides in Brooklyn, NY with his family. He cherishes spending time with with his kids and enjoys reading up on history, financial planning and personal development.
